Known accessibility issues

Despite our best efforts users may experience some issues. This is a description of known accessibility issues. Please contact us if you observe an issue that is not listed.

Auto generated links:
We use a free, open source, CMS [WordPress] and some elements of it have not been possible to customise. These include auto generated links in author pages. Where they include “Continue reading”

Buttons do not have an accessible name:
With the WordPress core the buttons to activate the menu for mobile menu and search do not have labels. We are currently unable to fix this.

Heading elements are not in a sequentially-descending order:
The WordPress theme forces heading types which can’t be updated.

PDF documents:
Some PDF documents don’t meet A+AA standards but due to their legal nature can’t be adjusted. Users can email the site to discuss a valid format. Only complex account reports are impacted.
