Eversholt Cricket Club

Welcome to the Eversholt Cricket Club, we hope that you will wander down to the cricket ground to see us play at some point during the season. The full fixture list is always available at www.eversholtcricketclub.co.uk* where you can log on for results and other club news.

Several club members and families ventured out to the Ashes series in Australia over Christmas and New Year where they celebrated and sang their way through an astounding English win. It was a chance to meet up with two Eversholt locals, Rebecca Clarkson and Ainsley Jones who celebrated in slightly messy style with club members Bill and David Pougher along with all of the Barmy Army. Catherine Pougher, as an Australian, was sulking at the time.

This season we welcome to Eversholt a young Australian cricketer David Goltz and his partner Aleesha Darr for the coming season. David will add strength to our team as a fast bowler as well as supporting the juniors with coaching and encouragement. David is from the Rockhampton area in Queensland where many families were effected by the floods. Knowing England he may see his fair share of rain here too. You are welcome to come down to the ground to meet them and give them an Eversholt welcome, and no doubt they will appear at the Green Man from time to time..
